Arenacross Pro riders took seven of the top ten championship positions in the closely-fought SX1 class of the ADAC German Supercross championship, and cleaned up both SX2 and SX3 groups.
After the final round at Dortmund, yesterday the 12th of Jan, the overall SX1 championship was won by American Tyler Bowers. Second to eighth though read like a who’s-who of Arenacross, with SR75’s Charles Lefrancois squeezing Castrol Suzuki MBC’s Cole Martinez into third by just one point.
Julien Lebeau, who’ll contest the AX Pro Lites with Wooldridge Demolition was in super-fast form in the SX2 category, taking the championship win with a clear ten points. Carl Ostermann of FRO Systems maintained a clean sheet throughout the SX3 sector, winning all races and claiming maximum points – he’ll ride with FRO Systems in the 2019 AX Rookies class.
AX stars also featured heavily in the King of Dortmund sector with second to ninth places claimed by AX riders Teillet, Soubeyras, Lefrancois, Aranda, Schmidt, Thury, Martinez and Izoird.
