AX meets Chris Evans and reaches half a million fans this Summer!

Carfest and the Goodwood Festival of Speed are just two of a handful of the UK’s largest festivals that the ever-growing AX Tour has reached this summer. With a combined total of over 500,000 visitors, we’ve managed to put thousands of ‘bums on seats’ for their first ever off road ride, showcased the incredible world of FMX as well as put the sports number one promotional tour on display to more families than you can shake a stick at… and AX are proud of it!

“We set out with a target to introduce more families to the MX than ever before – and we’ve achieved more than we could have ever expected” explained AX Tour owner Matt Bates. “Over 50% of our AX ticket buyers are totally unconnected to the sport and if we’re planning to keep growing, we need more fans, more ticket buyers, more readers and more riders – and we’re out there actively getting people involved on a very large scale”.

Arenacross has made a point of being at some of the biggest motor sporting events this Summer, with the likes of Goodwood Festival of Speed and CarFest North & South having all seen plenty of AX action…meaning that Arenacross have put our sport in-front of a huge new audience – 500,000 people!

As Freestyle plays such a huge part in any Arenacross event, it totally makes sense for them to be using these high-flying heroes as a brilliant promo tool during their Summer of AX, enlisting help from riders such as Petr Pilat, Mat Rebaud, Dan Whitby, Nez Parker, Steve Sommerfeld and Jamie Squibb.

The hugely popular CarFest South received a visit from the team this weekend and what a mighty fine display it was! Huge crowds packed out the AX stand; finding out more info on the Tour, grabbing some of their brand new merchandise, meeting the riders and of course getting a go on the upside down FMX bike. The guys even had a moment with Mr CarFest himself Chris Evans, as he introduced Arenacross on the Main stage, alongside huge music stars like the Kaiserchiefs and Olly Murrs.
