Arenacross will be here before we know it – so we best get some riders involved!

Rider entries for the 2018 Tour are now open…those of you who have ridden with us before will have already been contacted with all the info you need to get your application in but for all you newbies out there, here’s all you need to know:

AX runs 4 classes; PROS, Pro Lites, Supermini 85’s and the 65cc class (for more info on classes including age brackets and bikes allowed, visit www.mcfederation.com).

The 2018 Tour consists of 7 rounds in 6 cities, these are: Manchester *6th Jan), Newcastle (13th Jan), Birmingham (20th Jan), Belfast (26th and 27h Jan), Wembley (3rd Feb) and Sheffield (19th Feb). Points from six out of the seven rounds will count towards the overall Championships; you will drop the round in which you receive the least points.

This year, we will take a maximum of 12 riders in each youth class (65’s, Superminis and Pro Lites). This will mean the race schedules at each event will include 1 timed practice session (daytime), 1 timed qualifying session (daytime), 1 daytime race (not public) and 1 evening race (during the show).

There are a few ways you can enter. The easiest and probably most convenient is by hitting the button below which will take you straight through to an online form on the MCFederation website. Fill this out and it’ll come straight back to us!

Online Entry!

Alternatively, you can email Gaynor in the MCFederation office on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call her on 08454 750 057 and she can either email you out the forms to print out at home and post back or if you ask nicely, she might even post you some forms out directly!

Previous Arenacross riders have been given 7 days in which to get their application forms back to us to confirm that they’d like to race in the 20018 Tour. After that, we’ll be filling up the remainder of the classes by ability – with entries vetted and selected by both MCFederation and AX/ASL together.

So apply and get involved! Afterall, who wouldn’t want to race in front of 8000 screaming fans on a Saturday night and be back in school on Monday?!
